Another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this being the first weekly challenge of 2023, a year in which I hope things will improve a lot both economically and everything related to Splinterlands. But anyway, this week's challenge corresponds to the DRAGON deck, one of the most powerful decks and a deck that I especially like to combine with the DEATH and EARTH deck, although I have also been combining the DRAGON deck with WATER a lot. Therefore, these are the best battles of the day with the DRAGON deck.
In this first battle I used the DRAGON+DEATH combination, this being my favorite combination, although I think that little by little I have left it behind, since I am liking more combining DRAGON with Water, but anyway, that is another topic. So, this was the strategy for the first battle: Actually, in this first battle I didn't think of a specific strategy, since the "Earthquake" battle rule was active, I focused on using the "Flying" ability with cards, so in itself, beyond using cards with this ability, there was no well-planned strategy, but the formation was as follows: In first position I placed: Pelacor Deceiver, an excellent Melee-type card with a large number of points of life and although it does not have an excessive amount of attack points, with only 2 (being at LVL 5), it is still a good card capable of resisting a large number of enemy attacks. In second position is one of the two cards from the DRAGON deck that he uses in this battle and this card is practically the protagonist of the two battles that appears in this post and that card is: Dragon Jumper, an excellent card, which in addition to Being quite powerful, it is very evasive due to its large amount of speed points and also has the ability "Flying" (as well as all the cards used in this first battle.
In third position is the second card of the DRAGON deck: Chaos Dragon, an extremely powerful Magic Attack type card, since in addition to having a large number of life points (being only at LVL 1), it is also capable of resisting a little more extra enemy attacks thanks to its amount of shield points, but it is also that Magically it is a strong card that deals 3 damage per attack. Continuing with the formation and placing itself in fourth position is a legendary card that despite being extremely weak, since it only has 1 life point, is an equally evasive card like Dragon Jumper and also has the ability โDemoralizeโ, which is very useful. In the penultimate position I placed this card that I have always mentioned that looks like Susanoo from the anime/manga Naruto (which is an ability/Jutsu performed by several characters in this anime/manga), I'm sure whoever created the design of this card was inspired by that Jutsu to create it, but anyway, this is a fairly old card and equally resistant, that card is: Phantom Soldier. And being in last position and this being the card that practically gave me the victory is: Phantasm.
In this second battle I used the DRAGON+EARTH combination and focused on using mostly cards with the โOpportunityโ ability, which, as I already mentioned, is an ability that I really like. The strategy for this second battle was the following: In first position I placed a card from the EARTH deck, which I think is excellent due to its stats, but especially that it is a low mana cost card, a perfect Melee type card to be placed in first position. In second position, I placed one of the three cards with the "Opportunity" ability that I used in this battle, being that card and, repeating it again in formation: Dragon Jumper, a card that I already talked about previously and that, in general terms, is an excellent letter, which I would like to upload LVL. In third position is the second card with the "Opportunity" ability, that card being: Screeching Vulture, a card that also has the "Flying" ability and an excellent card that is very evasive and can save you when you least expect it. completely a battle that you hoped you were going to lose.
In fourth position I placed: Djinn Biljka and now I don't really remember why I used this card, since I like to use it with the Obsidian summoner, so in this specific battle and with this DRAGON summoner it was not really a good decision , however at least it was helpful in causing damage to my opponent. In penultimate position is the third and last card with the "Opportunity" ability that I used in this battle, being that card: Battering Ram and in last position is a classic card from all of Splinterlands: Furious Chicken.
