Dragons is one of my favorite decks because it can be combined with different types of other decks and in this way create much more interesting strategies. My favorite combinations have always been DRAGONS+DEATH AND DRAGONS+LIFE, but recently I have been using the DRAGONS+WATER combination and I have had good results using this combination correctly, so due to this week's Splinterlands challenge, these are the battles with the DRAGONS deck:

In this first battle I used the DRAGONS+WATER formation, I used this information because both the DRAGONS deck and the WATER deck have two cards with the "Opportunity" ability that I like to use in this formation, which is the following: Because in this battle was actica the "Up Close & Personal" rule, the Melee Tats I should use should be the right ones, so in first position I had to place a card that in terms of defensive and offensive stats should be very effective, so the perfect card for that is: Djinn Chwala, a card with very good stats of life points, shield and attack, and although it has very little speed it compensates with the "Thorns" ability. In second position I placed a card with "Reach" to try to cause as much damage as possible to the first card of my opponent and thus be able to eliminate it more easily, so I placed in that position to: Flying Squid.

In the next two positions I placed the two cards I mentioned above that have the "Opportunity" ability, one of them being: Dragon Jumper, a legendary card from the Dragon deck which, has decent stats, but is a super fast card with 5 speed points, but it is also a very evasive card due to its second ability "Flying". The next and second card with the "Opportunity" ability is: Deeplurker, a card from the WATER deck, which is very powerful in Melee. Because in this battle we could only use Melee cards, it was necessary to use a card with the ability "Demoralize", because in this way I could weaken my opponent's cards, so the card chosen for that is: Disintegrator. And in the last position, since I knew that my opponent would also use a card with the same ability ("Demoralize"), I had to place a card with the ability "Inspire" to counteract the ability "Demoralize", so I placed in that position: Demented Shark.

In this second battle I used my favorite combination: DRAGONS+DEATH. Although in this particular battle I only used one card from the DRAGONS deck. In first position I placed: Gloridax Soldier, which is a card that I really hardly use because it is not very useful or maybe I just have not given the opportunity to see its potential in battle, but anyway, Gloridax Soldier is a card with good defensive stats, it has the abilities "Flying" and "Shield", so it is very resistant and evasive, also its life and shield stats makes this card can decently resist a medium high amount of damage, however it has very little speed and Melee attack.

In the next two positions I placed two cards with one of my favorite abilities "Sneak" and those cards are: Skeleton Assassin, one of the oldest cards in all of Splinterlands and still to this day is quite useful. The next card with the "Sneak" ability is: Uraeus, an excellent card, one of those cards that if you underestimate it is capable of eliminating several enemy cards. In the next two positions use cards with the "Life Leech" ability, being these two cards from the DEATH deck and those cards are: Venari Bonesmith, a card that in addition to having the above mentioned ability, also has the "Poison" ability, thus making this card doubly effective. The penultimate card with the "Life Leech" ability is: Life Sapper, I like this card a lot, but I think it has very little life so it can be eliminated quite easily. And in last position, since I had no mana points left to use I put the classic 0 mana cost card, being that card: Corpse Fiend.
