Whenever i listen to Lade's music "Adulthood Na Scam" I would sing and dance along.. It always gets me laughing my ass out, and definitely I know I'm being silly but I myself will give anything to be a child again..
"Ludo" is my all time favorite game. Forget about Ps or xbox games. If you grow up in Nigeria specifically and you tell me you didn't play this game with friends or family all your life, then i guess your childhood, teenagehood and adulthood are all wako.
I played this till I was age 22.. I played Ludo more in between childhood and teenagehood. I remembered then I was still living with my parents and siblings, my friends would come around, me and my siblings would play with two of them taking turns cause we were 6 in number, sometimes we would even place a bet, which is my favorite path.
There are different ways in playing this game, we can have strategies and make it more fun by counting and killing backwards. Minimum of 2 people can play this game choosing two teams each,
The main reason I love playing this game is it helps to sharpen the mind in thinking fast and helps a lot in counting. As a kid this game made my day, i can play it all day long. Sometimes I find myself playing alone, imagining my opponents when i dont have anyone around to play with me.
At 18 years old I was living with my boyfriend who is currently my husband now. I remembered we went to the store to buy this ludo together. I wasn't aware he knows how to play. When we together in the house and no lectures for that day, we would always play this game.
Sometimes I get tired in the middle of the game after playing 10 rounds. He would cry and bribe to take me to eat out instead of cooking that night, If I play one last time, one last time would turn into another round…🤣 He can eat this game for breakfast, lunch and dinner and he would always beat my ass..
I never knew this game was abroad, just finding out it's all over the world seen with different patterns. Recently I saw it's online now and we can play it alone with our phones in apps, but I'll still prefer the traditional way though. No offense.
Well I don't know if this game is by luck or just strategies, seriously that's the question I haven't gotten the answer to myself. But one thing is for sure i'll never get tired playing this game even if i haven't played for 4 years now. Ludo really helps in putting smiles and laughter on our faces, driving away boredom.
Till we read again, Kudos!
