When you come to see life from my point of view, you'll realize there really isn't much in life but illusions. As much as I hate to admit this, there really isn't any point getting upset over anything. Nothing else matters, not material things, not anger, or passions, or enjoyment, nor Money etc. What matters most is your zeal to serve God.
Life has different views. There are hard times, easy times and enjoyable days you wish never end. When you view life as a weather forecast, somedays it can be rainy, sometimes sunny and most times snowy. When you view life as a surfer, it's like catching up a wave and riding on that wave. When viewed as a Thalassophile you'll observe its like the water washing down the sea shore going back and forth. And when viewed as a chef you'll notice it has different tastes, sweet, bitter, sour and peppering.
The problem however is that we don't want life to have too much rain, sun,or snow. We don't want the wave to go away when we're riding on it. We don't want the waters to go back to the sea when we feel it on our legs. We don't want life to have too much bitter, sour, or peppering taste. We just want life to be sweet all the time .
And as such we forget the most important aspect of life, and that is; All these seasons and changes in life, experiences, hardtimes, rainy days, bitter and sour tastes, are needed for us to learn the lessons in the different seasons. If life is always at its best, trust me none of us will learn a thing about life and the people living in it.
I've had days where I have been at my best, worst and horrible times, But it never gets a hold on me, or changes my simple life routine. During my hard times I barely see money to eat or cook with, sincerely. Sometimes I find it extremely difficult to scale through and move on. My faith becomes weak and it affects my view of life wondering if i can keep going and survive,
There are days where I'll have zero money in my account balance, days where I'll eat just nothing for dinner and eat ratio 2:0 per day which means twice daily. What actually kept me going is a simple thought, which is, "Hard Times never last, and easy times never last, life rotates ups and downs, if I am at my downs today, soon I'll be at my ups". Those thoughts kept me going, and striving on
There are days where my account balance has ,××××× like an average celebrity, more than other family members. It still doesn't change my view of living a simple life.
There really isn't much about my life, and I don't want to bore you with it, but it's pretty simple as ABC. So Money or not I help others the best way I can . That's just one of my passions., I help my family, I help few friends, and less privilege, then save up, that's just the point I want you to understand.
In my sweet days I save a little for the rainy days. That also kept me going for sometime when I had nothing. So like it or not hard times will come and like it or not good times will come. The important thing is to gather up alot from your sweet days, so that your rainy days won't have any impact on you till it ends. That is how a Minimalist views life.
