Am gonna make this quick and swift, So here goes nothing. I have been wanting to post about this for a long time, just holding out the annoyance, but right now i think i've had enough.
Have you ever had those comments where you were expecting a conversation but the person just ended up with "Thank you so much for visiting my post"? For real, You think I just visited your post and then wrote something to strike up a conversation just to end up seeing a thank you.?
Seen thorns of different way Hivers respond to comment and it's pretty much not welcoming, it seems they're tryna tell you "Hey i aint interested in whatever you gotta say so leave me alone"
Some Hivers actually took the liberty to give a short reply, and ended wraping it up with "Thanks for stopping by, appreciate you taking the time to comment, thanks blessings". Wanna know the worst part,? some wont even border writing any response at all before wraping it up with a thank you bla bla bla bla bla……..
Technically speaking its a good thing, you know,! appreciating others for taking the time out to read a post, but there's a difference when its being abused. Once I see a reply like this where it ends up with a "Thank you", I feel the person is actually ending the conversation or dont want any futher discussion. If ya'll noticed I for sure don't end my replies with a thank you for visiting my post bullshit, because I want the conversation to go on.
Actually I am beginning to get confused if Hivers really want to strike up a conversation, or they are just forcing themselves to because of the cash involved.
Things even gets more worst, when some Hivers literally don't read the whole of a post to the end before commenting? All they do is skim through pick one or two points and give a horrible comment base on that, definitely you can tell the sheep from the goat as the comment seems to be off key. Really!,....are you kidding me? If I knew you weren't gonna read the post at all, why the hell did I take four hours of my precious time cracking my head tryna craft a mindblowing post for you???.....
Am just gonna share something with you real quick, this happened to me earlier this week. I commented to a whales post and gave my honest opinion. I was a bit confused though to know what the main point of the post was all about, I had to read twice for me to grasp a better understanding of the post, as am very slow when it comes to reading complicated stuffs.
Back to the question. i gave my honest opinion to this whale and made a suggestion to please break down his future post for those who are slow learners.. Could you imagine what he did? he flamed up and wrote "Are you serious right now,? So you tryna tell me how to write my post now?, In future comments Learn some manners or restrain from ever commenting or reading my post, i aint joking"
I saw the tension so I had to appologized to him thinking' he'll accept and forget about the whole thing, funny enough he didn't, instead he downvoted one of my post. What the hell mate it was just a suggestion no need to get all fiesting…
Whale or fry everyone should be treated equal, no one is bigger than the other even on earth, everyone has a special gift.
I've noticed Hivers just don't want an honest opinion or suggestions. When a person criticize their post then the person turns an enemy. Fucking bullshit…. So I cant give a honest comments without being on the Hivers side all the time..??
With this bullshit I cant even differentiate between the web2 and web3 platforms anymore. With the situation of annoying comments am seeing everyday. I might restrain very soon from commenting on post, best still I can just focus on writing post and upvoting post.., "Am fucking serious" …
