PROMOTING UTOPIAN.IO TO NIGERIANS ON FACEBOOK

Introduction

As a member of @projectmillionnaija team which is aimed at popularizing Steemit in Nigeria with the target of reaching 20 million Nigerians, I ran a promotion about an Open Source project (Utopian) to reach out to Nigerians. I am @frankremmy on steemit and with my Facebook name Chigbata Ugochukwu FrankRemmy, I opened a page Steemit Outreach Program, Uyo for the promotion. This is my first contribution on Utopian.

Audience

On my Facebook page, I made a post about Utopian.io. The audience targeted included people between the ages of 18 to over 65, both genders. The interest were students, workers and creative writers who are interested in cryptocurrencies. major cities in Nigeria were selected in order to give the promotion a better reach.

Results

The promotion started on 12/02/2018 and ended on 28/02/2018. The results of the promotion was a reach of over 5000 people. A total of NGN8,681 was spent on the promotion.
