After the elevator broke, I climbed up the Zenith tower, used my pullcaster to navigate risky ledges. Reaching the top, Aloy opened the launch door and rescued Beta. Beta then revealed that the Zeniths were actually fleeing Earth to escape a destructive entity called Nemesis from deep space.

I had to reach the top of the tower to rescue Beta, so I activated the elevator while Zo stayed behind, likely to scavenge Erik's body. Outside, it appeared that the machines and Specters had nearly wiped each other out.

Alva chimed in over the comms, mentioning that Gerard was taking control of the network system to grant access inside.

She added that she had to go because she was almost out of time, and right then, the elevator came to a halt midway up the shaft. With the lift out of order, I had to start climbing the rest of the way.

Fortunately, there were several ledges along the shaft that I could use to make my way upward. At one point, I had to use my pullcaster to wrench down a heavy iron beam to clear a path forward.

I then executed a risky leap across the open drop, but Aloy managed to catch the ledge and hold on.

I continued scaling the structure as Alva called back to report that she had reached the regular top level. After checking the local data, she confirmed that the Zeniths were planning to abandon Earth entirely.

Suddenly, her transmission cut off mid-sentence, leaving Aloy to hope that she was still safe as I kept pushing toward the summit.

I reached the main door of the launch tower near the very top. I activated the console to release the lock and step inside. Aloy rushed into the room and found Beta trapped in a strange apparatus that looked as though it was draining her life away.

Aloy quickly freed her from the device. Knowing Beta had been through an immense ordeal, Aloy gently explained that she still needed her help to access the Zenith network.

Beta gestured toward a console nearby and began walking slowly alongside Aloy to guide her.

Beta explained that systems were failing all across the base. She had taken advantage of a signal called Nemesis to pull data, revealing that something far away in deep space was actively pursuing the Zeniths to Earth.

Beta noted that it was not a natural disaster that had destroyed the original Zenith colony, but an entity. Aloy realized then that Earth was never meant to be a new home for the Zeniths, but merely a temporary stop while they remained on the run.

The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
