This is me showing my winning of another brawl battle where the battle ruleset gives diving shield ability to all monsters.
I'll be joining a battle challenge hosted by @splinterlands with this post and I'm linking the challenge link so that other peoples may know about it.

Holy Protection: All monsters have the divine shield ability and all the monster takes damage, it is ignored at the first time for having this ability.
This time I got a battle with 58 mana and I went for it using Scarred Llama Mage as summoner.
Here you can see both team where I've found a opponent with 6 cards against my only 6 cards.
Battle Ruleset:
| The battle ruleset has 58 mana cap. | |
|---|---|
| Super Sneak: All melee attack monsters have the sneak ability. | |
| Holy Protection: All monsters have the divine shield ability. |
Arena Tactics:
| Host guild always wins when there's a draw. Host guild unites attack first in ties. | |
|---|---|
| Kelya Frendul was banished from the visiting battle mage's roster. They could not use this character when creating a team. |
Fray Limits:
I played in bronze league level caps where I could use all cards according to bronze league level caps.
My chosen cards.
I chose earth splinter with 6 earth cards and I used Scarred Llama Mage as summoner.
| Scarred Llama Mage | Palidon Rakk | Runemancer Florre | Oaken Behemoth | Epona | Kron the Undying | Uloth Dhampir |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Scarred Llama Mage offers +2 health, last stand and cleanse abilities to all friendly monsters and I took the benefit out of the last stand ability. Palidon Rakk gets +1 to all stats every time this monster defeats an opponent for having bloodlust ability. Runemancer Florre does double attack when its away from the first position as it has both magic and ranged attacks and it doesn't have any extra abilities in any level.
Oaken Behemoth offers double attack (melee+magic) where the melee attack should be worked when the monster is at the first position only as normally melee attack don't attack from any other position but this monster offers the reach ability as well which allows this monster to attack from the second position and it activates the melee attack as well and it offers another ability that taunts magic enemy monsters to hit this monsters armor before its health. Epona offers increased Health to all friendly monsters for having strengthen ability when it doesn't have any attack power of its own. Kron the Undying restores a portion of its health for having heal ability. Uloth Dhampir has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn for having stun ability.
Enemy's chosen cards.
The enemy chose earth splinter with 5 earth cards and 1 neutral card using Obsidian as summoner.
| Obsidian | Unicorn Mustang | Grund | Goblin Mech | Mushroom Seer | Uloth Dhampir | Mycelic Infantry |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Obsidian offers +1 magic attack to all friendly monsters. Unicorn Mustang reduce damage from magic attacks for having void ability. Grund attacks twice each round for having double strike ability. When Goblin Mech attacks a target and if melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage the target's health for having piercing ability.
Mushroom Seer reduces the magic attack of all enemy monsters. Mycelic Infantry reduce damage from melee and ranged attacks for having shield ability.
The Battle
For battle ruleset, all monsters got sneak and divine shield ability where all melee attack monsters will target the last monster on the enemy team instead of the first monster for having sneak ability and all the monster takes damage it is ignored at the first time for having divine shield ability.
Then all friendly monsters got +2 health, last stand and cleanse ability from the summoners buff. And a single magic monster from the enemy team got +1 magic attack from summoners buff. Then 3 friendly magic monsters lost 1 magic attack each for the silence ability of enemy teams Mushroom Seer. And then finally all friendly monsters god +1 more health for the strengthen ability of the friendly teams Epona.
Friendly teams Runemancer Florre started attacking first with its double attack (magic+ranged) and enemy teams Unicorn Mustang evaded the magic attack for having divine shield ability although this could evade the magic attack without getting the divine shield as well for having its own void ability and then lost 2 health from the ranged attack. Then Unicorn Mustang attacked Palidon Rakk and the friendly monster evaded the attack. Then Oaken Behemoth did double attack (magic+melee) where Mycelic Infantry evaded the magic attack for having divine shield but lost 1 health from the melee attack after reducing the damage for having shield ability.
Then enemy teams Grund and Goblin Mech attacked friendly teams Uloth Dhampir where Grund did a double strike and after evading the first attack, Uloth Dhampir lost total 7 health and the enemy monsters attacked this friendly monster because for having sneak ability. All other monsters kept attacking from their own position when the first attacker Runemancer Florre did the first killing in the next level. Then both teams kept attacking and killing each other although it was not easy as both team had monsters with good stats.
At a point, friendly team lost all monsters except Kron the Undying when the enemy team had 3-4 monsters and the friendly monster was activated with the last stand ability that increased it stats. Besides the friendly monster kept healing its health for having heal ability and it alone killed all the remaining enemy monsters.
Mistakes in strategies
I mistakenly used Runemancer Florre at the second poison but I should've kept it away from the first position as it should stop attacking with the ranged attack as soon as it gets to the first position and that happened in a very short time after Palidon Rakk died and Runemancer Florre started attacking with only magic attack neglecting the ranged attack. If I'd use Runemancer Florre at the fifth position then it'd be perfect for this monster. Oaken Behemoth should've been in the second position cause it can't use the melee attack unless it stays in the first and second position although I was in luck that the battle ruleset provided sneak ability that allowed this monster to use the melee attack from the third position as well. The lineup should've been as follow, Palidon Rakk, then Oaken Behemoth, then Kron the Undying, then Epona, then Runemancer Florre, and then Uloth Dhampir.
The enemy did excellent with the lineup strategy using all the powerful melee attackers getting the use of the super sneak ruleset but the enemy team could use a better summoner as the buff of this summoner didn't come handy as the enemy team had only one magic attacker.
NEXT TIME.
The next post about splinterlands will be coming soon.
