La gran razón de haber creado estos dibujos que muestro en este post fue para probar una página de modelados en 3D (Link aquí de referencia) que me sugirió faffy hace un buen tiempo. Me he sorprendido que a pesar de estar algo limitado la versión web (porque te invita a descargar la App en el celular) se le puede sacar bastante provecho con perspectiva y sombras, sí, puedes jugar con la dirección de la sombra y el enfoque que quieres hacer para guiarte del modelado.

Lo que si "me choca" un poco es que los modelos 3D de personajes no cuenten con una versión chibi que es el estilo al que me gusta dibujar y que no se pueda modificar la proporción o el tamaño del cuerpo (por ejemplo, para hacer a un personaje gordo, curvilineo o con más busto) que para eso creo que hay que pagar y solo está disponible desde la aplicación de celular pero eso no quita que siga siendo muy útil su versión web.

La otra fue que me acordé que cuando mi sobrina a eso de los 8 o 10 años, ella cada que venía a visitarnos, me buscaba para entretenerse. Lo primero que hacía era preguntarme "¿Puedo jugar algún juego en tú celular?" y yo siempre le respondía que no tenía porque desde hace mucho tiempo mi entretenimiento en el celular ha pasado a ser las redes sociales.

Hasta que hubo una vez que nos volvió a visitar y me preguntó nuevamente, le mostré las aplicaciones que tenía instalado en mi celular y las que veía con un nombre interesante creía que podrían ser algún juego pero terminaba por ser Wallets de criptomonedas, a lo que ella me respondió con "Ay no, que aburrido eres" y le pegué con la almohada en la cabeza para iniciar una pelea de almohadas.

Pero no sé, ha pasado mucho tiempo ahora vengo a recordar eso que me dijo y me puse a divagar a mi mismo y... En verdad, ya no me entretengo como antes cuando era un niño hasta mi adolescencia. Antes perdía el tiempo jugando juegos en las Playstation, miraba por horas Anime, me trasnochaba jugando en la computadora tratando de mejorar mis estrategias, queriendo ganarle a la maquina en el shoter, explorando mundo en World of Warcraft o creando una historia con mis SIMS, etc.

Cuando llegó la adultes, fui perdiendo poco a poco ese interés aunque aún manteniendo las ganas de seguir jugando ciertos juegos pero a día de hoy, lo que he ido pensando es en hacer dinero y lo cotidiano en el hogar, si me entretengo ya no son con los juegos sino viendo Youtube algunos vídeos y las redes... Me estoy alargando con el tema pero ya tienen una idea de que pasa cuando ya pasas a ser adulto.

Admito que no me gusta como hice a Jessica guiándome con el modelo 3D, porque luce muy delgada y algo diferente pero fue curioso tratar de aplicar sombras (aunque no aplique con mucha intensidad por miedo) en los personajes y jugar con la perspectiva, la próxima vez trataré de guiarme con esta herramienta para aplicar sombras a mis personajes en chibis o en otras historietas para ir mejorando visualmente al personaje.

Faltaría la última pestaña de la reacción de Jessica pero eso queda a imaginación e interpretación del lector de que pueda responderle a ese motivo a mi personaje. 😁

The big reason to have created these drawings that I show in this post was to test a 3D modeling page that faffy suggested me some time ago. I have been surprised that in spite of being somewhat limited in the web version (because it invites you to download the App on your cell phone) you can take advantage of it with perspective and shadows, yes, you can play with the direction of the shadow and the focus you want to do to guide you in the modeling.

What I don't like is that the 3D character models don't have a chibi version, which is the style I like to draw, and that you can't modify the proportion or size of the body (for example, to make a character fat, curvy or with more bust), for that I think you have to pay and it's only available from the mobile application, but that doesn't mean that the web version is still very useful.

The other was that I remembered that when my niece came to visit us as a child, she would look for me to entertain herself. The first thing she would ask me was "Can I play a game on your cell phone?" and I would always answer that I didn't have one because for a long time now my entertainment on my cell phone has been social networks.

Until once she came back to visit us and asked me again, I showed her the apps I had installed on my cell phone and the ones she saw with an interesting name I thought they might be some game but they were cryptocurrency Wallets, to which she responded with "Ay no, how boring you are!" and I hit her with the pillow on the head to start a pillow fight.

So I started "my brief comic" playing with shadows and perspectives, I must admit that I don't like the way I made Jessica guided by the 3D model. Next time I'll try with chibi characters or another comic:

The last image of Jessica's reaction would be missing but that is left to the reader's imagination and interpretation that I can respond to that motif to my character. 😁
