Why would it change tides? The gravitational effect doesn't change when a nuke explodes on the moon. It's not like that they could move large parts of it out of the earth orbit.

14 days per move sounds very long. I guess you play more than one game at once? I prefer real-time games, like on lichess.org. Try one of the variants as well, I really like Atomic.

Chess works for lichess.org. They write that the have tests to check if a human plays and you get banned if you use a program. Might be difficult for the higher ELO ratings, but should be easy for lower

The download works for me, try right click "save link as" (e.g. in Chrome). For Windows the VLC Media Player can play the MP4 file, and in my Linux system the Dragon Player. Less fancy colors

Thanks. I added a link to the MP4 file. Do you know a better service? I think the main problem is the GIF format, because it supports only 256 colors, not good for animations.
