Hi everyone. I would like to share with you my trip to the city of Mstislavl - one of the oldest cities in the Republic of Belarus. It is mentioned in the Ipatiev Chronicle of the early 12th century "as one of the defensive parts of the Smolensk principality."
Currently, on one of the main streets of Mstislavl, you can see the dilapidated building, the Jesuit Church of St. Michael the Archangel, built in 1637. The building is a tall building in the “Vilna” baroque style.
The building is now in a deplorable state.
An archival photograph of the church in the 20th century has been preserved.
Time spares no one, although the authorities are making minimal efforts to preserve the facade.
