“Our job in this life is not to shape ourselves into some ideal we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it.” ― Steven Pressfield, The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles
For artists in a third world country or maybe the whole world, the obvious measure of success for most is money. For creative individuals that means we need to sell our services and/or products however most people are not good with selling.
If you're dedicated in pursuing your passion and would like to do this for the rest of your life then you need to sell your artworks but its not that easy. Some people thinks that its simple. You need to have good connections in your industry or a big following in social media cos if you dont, youll find it incredibly hard to start.
“The most important thing about art is to work. Nothing else matters except sitting down every day and trying.” ― Steven Pressfield, The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks & Win Your Inner Creative Battles
I agree with Steven here, artists should only focus on improving their arts and not thinking about selling, marketing and anything connected to business but we need money to support ourselves and our family. Is there another way?
This is possible with the help of blockchain technology, it allows peer-to-peer transaction that removes the need for middle men to approve a transaction.
“We must do our work for its own sake, not for fortune or attention or applause.” ― Steven Pressfield, The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks & Win Your Inner Creative BattlesI believe on the potential of this platform especially in helping artists in a third world country that's why I've been promoting this platform thru events, tv interviews and now seminars with the help of our local government we aim to help more artists in the Philippines.
