Our ancestors were out progenitors. We have their flesh and blood in us. Their generation was an idolatrous one. Everything about lacked Christianity, no wonder when there stories are mentioned, it is always with touch of paganism and idols worship. There way of life was that of idol worship. Christianity was not in vogue in their time. And that's why you hardly hear of Christian activities in their days. Abraham the friend of God was with his ancestral home which was an idolatry generate and God saw need to take him out of his lineage. What am saying in essence is that we should not believe our ancestors as christians because Christianity has overtaken the archaic and idolatry system of our ancestors.
