Friends. It just seems impossible at times to get done what we want. My trading yesterday was one good example of that.
I had an appointment to have the big red truck serviced at the dealer's service center.
Blue skies is what will be served up for us today. So I had thought anyway.
Surely the appointment at 1:30 PM would be OK for me to get there with lots of time to trade before then.
Wrong. Ugh on that.
So what did happen? I took a position and waited. Then I waited some more. The market was so slow.
I have found out over the years. If I have to have something in the market at a certain time. Be prepared at least to be disappointed. Yesterday was no different. It just bounced back and forth, going nowhere. Yes, I was disgusted. Ha

The blue arrow shows my buy. And the red shows the sell. You can see that I gained almost nothing.
-1- tick to the plus column. But Friends. That is better than a loss. I don't like red numbers on my trading DOM. Ha
Let us take a look at the Trading DOM. Do not despair for me. Hopefully I can have many more trading days that doesn't have daytime appointments. I will try to stay away from business day appointments from now on.
For me. Any dollar is good. I just don't like to see red numbers on my Trading DOM.
We can't have Christmas every day it seems. So we will enjoy the reminders set before us.
Oh yes. The Completed Orders page. That is the proof of trade/s.
Looking at this page. It would seem that I had more time. But I am wise enough not to trust Mr Market.
If I had waited a few more minutes. I would have been much happier. But, that can lead to sorrow at other times.
I know that from experience. It is a tough business to be in at times. lol
Remember the quiet life I had when I was on the hill where "The Plug" lives? Yes, I traded there. But it is taking so much time to get settled in here at the winter dwelling. And I do miss the ole Plug. I will see him again though.
Friends. I have learned a lesson again. For the umpteenth time. No trading against the clock.
I learn so slowly. Ha
