Since we didn't get to finish up our beach trip the other day. I though now would be a good time to look at some more of what we saw while there.
The egret didn't seem to concerned that he was being photoed. The birds around here are always looking for a meal. The people fishing there gives them something to eat. If they catch something they don't like or want. The birds get it. And leftover bait can go the birds as well.
We might as well take another look at him. He was all for standing there so we could get a good shot of him. This one also shows a little more of the beach background and some greenery.
I see another egret and a pigeon near and on the fish cleaning station. There is a water line and hose for cleaning your fish at the cleaning station on the pier. That makes it handy for anyone catching fish to be able to clean them right there.
There is more than one fish cleaning station.
Fish can have a bad odor when cleaning time comes. Even cooking them can permeate the house or wherever they are being cooked. But, some of them are very good eating.
I wonder why the egret and the pigeon are hanging around the fish cleaning station? Ha
While we are looking at birds. Look at this little bird. Are these called sand pipers or something like that?
In this photo. It looks like the bird couldn't wait. Ha
The pier floor is laid with composite material. Not wood. It costs more, but it lasts a lot longer.
Plus, I think it is stronger for the winds and the storms that hit the pier.

There are always signs wherever we go, it seems. The beach and pier area is no different.
Check in with who? lol We grabbed a table just as a group was leaving. It wasn't that busy anyway.
I decided to leave Pat out of this photo. She doesn't like to be in photos very often.
When we get older. We do get a little camera shy. Ha
But Katie doesn't care. She is young and pretty.
It is safer to point the camera up when taking photos in a crowd. I don't want to be screamed at for being some kind of freak. Ha ha
There are some things to see at the ceiling too. Ceiling watching isn't a popular sport I don't think at the beach though. lol
Looking from our table to the beach. It wasn't very cool that day. The sun was shining.
As we were leaving. We entered into the nearby park that has recently been built. It is a super nice area for picnics and lots of walking around the nearby lake or pond that is there.
That finishes our work and post for the beach that I had for you to see.
We will be visiting the beaches later on as we move on from Sharky's on the Pier and the Fins Restaurant.
There are many beaches to see in our local area. But for now. I have to post this for you.
