I have been working on my garden. I want to get ready for some planting. I have been taking time to go around the community a lot to get supplies and to check for plants of interest.
Here is some of what I have been doing. Adding mulch to the top of the base.
You remember the mower had to go to the repair shop?
I had wanted the yard grass clippings to serve as a base for my garden.
I was nearly finished with that part of my plan when the mower failed to start.
It should be back here maybe on Monday or Tuesday.

I thought it would be good to see how some farmers do corn chopping.

This is the part of the country that I am from.
The farm is in Lawrence County, Ohio I think.
Southern Ohio is what I always say. Next to the Ohio River.
They are east 100 miles or more from where I have land.
