This is not to entice you to start trading the futures. If you want to be miserable for many months/years. Help yourself.
Just be forewarned that will be the case for most, if not all of you that try. I know from actual experience.
Not what someone told me.
See the "Completed Orders" page above. That is what I want to explain in some limited way to you.
The above "Completed Orders" is what you can see on the Daniels Trading platform
That is what I use for now. Other platforms could be used just as well.
The section below is the "Order Number."
That is the number assigned to your order when you place the order.
Next is showing the status of your order.
This below is showing a completion of the order.
No more liability upon completion.
To shorten the post for you. I have put 4 items together below.
Since I only traded one. Average price has no meaning. That is the price.
Next is buy or sell. It is clear that I bought one hoping it would go up. It did. Ha
Quantity of course is one (1)
And filled would be one too.
I added three (3) to the explanation below.
Symbol is the "futures contract" traded. It was the ES in this case. (S&P)
Price is a "limit order." 2565 to 2567 in this showing. 2 points or $100 dollars.
Last Cmd has no meaning for me as nothing was changed.
Just one (Comment) for this look at the "Completed Orders" page below.
DOM--Depth of Market. Prices showing on the trading DOM and the total we can see.
OCO--When target is hit and filled. The "stop order" is cancelled too.
It can be a trailing stop. It depends on how you set up your trading DOM.
The last three items of record information on the Completed Orders page below.
Time--Time the order was entered in on the Trading DOM.
Fill TIme--The time the order was filled.
Completed Time--The time the order is accepted and final.
You can see that the "Completed Orders" page is rather simple. It is easy to understand.
The only item of importance missing on my Completed Orders page is the account number.
That is the first item listed and shown on the page. I omit it each time of course. Ha
I took a screen shot of my trading chart and DOM. That is the exact setup and chart that I trade from.
It is the "Daniels Trading" chart with the CFRN indicators for last week.
It is a monthly paid subscription for some of the indicators.
Without the indicators. It would be very tough for me to find profitable trades.
There are many other services that offer help too. I just use the CFRN indicators.
I hope this helped you to understand a little more about the Completed Orders page that I post most of the time.
