Today is the 29th day of April 2021.
I want to share what I learnt from today's mass indoctrination service which tagged "BAPTISM"
Before I proceed I will like to explain what baptism is all about
Baptism is the process by which Christian are sub merge with water. It is also a religious ceremony that involves a brief immersion in water or by sprinkled water on the forehead as symbol of washing away of sin.
According to the book of Ephesians 4:5 it says there is one Lord one faith one baptism so that one true baptism is in the body. The body is the church which is where baptism must hold.
When you want to do baptism it better you do it in your youthful age.
When you know your left and right
Even Jesus Christ did his baptism when he was 33 years old.
And let's stop sprinkled of water in the name of baptism
Dipping in water simple means that you have died with Christ and risen up from water means that you have risen with Jesus Christ.
It was a spiritual procedure of the cutting away of your sinful nature
For you have buried and risen with Christ
And with him you raised to New life because you trusted the might power of God, who raised Christ from dead.
Colossians 2:11-12
We were the burr with him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from dead through the glory of the father, we too may live a new life according to Roman 6:4
The baptism is an important step of obedience in the believers life yet only an acknowledgement if the salivation experience already accomplished.
According to the book of 1Corinthians 12:13
Says in the way all of us whether Jews or gentiles whether slave's or free have been baptized into the one body by same spirit and we have all been given the one spirit to drink.
According to the book of 2 Chronicles 7:16"
And God said he will watch over this house because I have chosen it and consecrated it as the place where I will be worshiped forever. I will watch over it and protect it for all time.
So brethren, the only place where we can have our true baptism is in the house of God and no where else.
