no shame at all, I remember it almost daily all by myself so I don't need a reminder... your post however is giving me a nice warm feeling, knowing I am not the only one who remembers.

I have difficulty committing the time, the @googlyprize has always been a passion project and I did invest several hours at least into each and every round that was held, starting with a fresh title and bonus picture, organizing the winner election on discord, writing the posts, meticulously maintaining the spreadsheet for the prize pool...

it's been getting increasingly difficult to fit all that into my week every week and the prizes started to become more and more irregular before the infamous guerilla fork happened...

I'm still not sure how I can bring it back with less of a time investment but an equal amount of passion... because it needs some passion to be of positive value.

Aaaaand... I also don't curate much on hive these days, so I barely see any posts outside of my little actifit bubble these days... I'll go look for your mushrooms now, though.
