What this Baal Shem Tov said is probably all true. But seeing the ugly, the blemishes, in others can help getting to the roots of ourselves. As humans, I think we are all blessed with the universal beauty of life itself, yet at the same time we are all victims to the struggle that we're provided with to constantly evolve.

Anyway... You're a fine man. I don't know you at all, but I'll get in a group hug with a tree and your old hippie self any day.
