I've seen some statistics shared somewhere (unfortunately clueless about the source - so maybe that's fake news) showing how under the current 15 minute window a lot of well performing posts yielded the best curation returns for voters in the 8-10 m range.

And yes, the majority of decent posts these days can probably be reviewed in less than 5 minutes, so I'll have to admit that a 5-10 minute curation window might make sense. But 1 minute?

I wouldn't be opposed to adjusting this window incrementally or maybe better, individually without slapping everything all at once into one fork, to observe the effect on voting behavior and effectiveness of the individual measures.

Juggling with all variables in the reward-mix all at once feels a bit like fixing an intricate machine with a sledgehammer... well now I'm just ranting :P

I've seen the 1 m window compared to moving from an old-school stock-trading floor into algorithmic trading. That's probably a bit hyperbolic, but it speaks to me about how HF21 will strengthen proof-of-brain... not!
