Honestly, I saw some merit in 50/50 and how it could encourage stakeholders to support manual curation initiatives that look for quality in "new" or similar stuff. I see how it might make bid-bots slightly less attractive to ROI-addicts and daily giveaway hosts... I had some hopes...

Then I learned about that great idea of a 1-minute curation window. Curation my ass... now it's just good buy* bid-bots, hello subscription-based bots and more profit for those?! I don't get it!
