This has been one of the most busiest summer I have had with my kids. Last month especially. It has been jam packed with different events and adventures and so before I forget everything we did, it is time that I make a post and also reminisce the good times we had.
Good thing for taking pictures cause I'm struggling to remember what we did first!
The first thing we do at the beginning of every summer, on the very first hot summer day, is take out the sprinkler and put it under the trampoline. The kids love it! The cold water and jumping fun is one of their favorite things to do when at home and want to cool off but go crazy at the same time. The air is filled with screams, laughter and shouts of joy.
What I get most excited about is to go for walks and enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds me. If this photo looks familiar, that's because I have already wrote about this adventure a while back, I was walking the dog, found animal bones and took in the fresh air! I still have those bones and waiting for the right moment when the imagination strikes to write a story with those.
Both my niece and my daughter had a graduation, although Frankie's was a smaller celebration, they both gave a sense of happiness and definitely a proud mom/aunt moment!
Remember this one? It was my first camp out at the beginning of summer and a girls night out. Lovely time I had and hope to do it again before the summer is over!
In this picture, you can see Frankie in her very own police patroller. A gift given from my parents which now made Frankie want to become a cop when she grows up instead of being a biker chick....even though I told her she could be both, she fights me on saying she can't and has to be a cop because of her car.
Simba on a pony? What?
The last day of her early learnings program, the kids were treated with pony rides and Frankie just loooooves ponies and horses. A real treat for her.
My brother and his daughters visited for a week and when he does, my dad takes out these cool go carts. The kids whip around in then having a blast all day long with these.
Splash park fun!!! Yeah baby!
This particular splash park is newly built and opened just this year in memory of a little girl that lost her life. The community came together and donated to help the memorial come to life. Every bench, like the one on the right, has the name of each person that donated. So we definitely took the chance to spend some time there at this wonderfully gifted fun time.
Park time! One thing is a must do as soon as the snow melts is going to the park. This one particular park is in the form of a pirate ship and I do believe that I might just have more imagination than my kids when it comes to playing here. I set so many scenarios for the kids to play that even the other kids we didn't know got in on the fun.
This one photo is one I am using for a photo contest that is being held in the next town over. If you would like to encourage me, please click on the link to vote. It is closing soon and it is a close call in votes 馃槂

Camping, woohoo!! This is something we did a lot of! And I mean a lot! This one picture is of the first time we camped out, and we'll that just happened to be in the backyard for for this one but hey, the kids were happy! With booking up the power, the kids enjoyed an old movie and popcorn. Wonderful.
I am running out of time to write this post so I will be ending it here and continue it on the next time I get a chance, hopefully soon!
I hope you are all enjoying your summer days and making the most of it!
