It has been a while since I have brought to you a little bit of Spiritual Tarot Card of the day.
I am trying to get back into the habit of posting as it is something that I enjoy doing and so, time to make that work, right!
Going through posts and people that I miss supporting, I fell upon @traciyorks Tarot Tuesday post that gave me inspiration for this post once more. Please have a look at her post, it is always fun and can be enlightening.
Let's get started.
When using the Native Spirit Oracle cards I always take the time smudge myself and the cards, cleaning the energy withing myself and my surroundings, as well as the energy of the cards because sometimes the energy of the previous person can linger on them.
The card for today is Ancient Forest.
The world is in a crisis state, and mother earth is trying to heal itself. We must remember that she gave us everything we needed to survive naturally, respecting and giving thanks to what is offered. We took and abused and went beyond and to heal, we must go back to the ancient ways and look back to what is sacred, what is most important. Look past ourselves, our greed and really find our spirit to properly connect with one another as brother and sisters across the world. Find what the difference is between need and want. There is so much confusion now as we have long ago begun to believe what we want is a need.
In the guidebook, it explains that our roots go deep, and that great healing strength is available to you and it grows within you; we all have a capability to heal ourselves. You are much more than you can possibly imagine. With having good support around you, showing that you are loved and cherished, your healing can begin with great success. Become grounded, stable and strong, and your spirit will reach high into the heavens.
I have mentioned in a previous post about how I just love trees. They have seen so much through the generations and carry so much wisdom as not only have they seen, but they have also felt as they are grounded and have a root system that connects to one another. They have a powerful life source and can bring healing, strengthening and grounding energies.
If you look at a single tree, you can see it provides a home, shelter, and shade, it creates oxygen and can even bear fruit. All signs of the energy a tree can give. And when you look at a forest, together it can survive the harshest weather, break strong winds, and even help prevent floods as they help soak up the waters. This is because of the mutual support of the spirit of the entire forest. You too can survive the harshest of battles and just like the forest, so are your surroundings.
Inner power is found through contemplation , reflection and meditation, and sometimes it comes from growth, change and can also spring from surviving and conquering painful situations.
If we are to take on a journey from what this card is telling us, we can adopt a tree. Perhaps purchasing one to plant in your yard or one that has already grown in a park or nearby forest, even a sacred place you like to visit. Talk to the tree, touch its surface, give thanks. And by doing so you create an energy connection that will continue to nurture you, no matter are how far away you are from your adopted tree.
