Some of my medical appointments require travel and road trips aren't always practical. Flying is almost never my first choice, but it is often the most practical choice. Traveling with a powerchair can be pretty painful, so I try to trust my legs to get me to the Uber (I can usually get a few hundred feet)
Changing flights is a whole different game
Even if I skip the powerchair, I still have to coordinate assistance getting from gate to gate. It adds a night's stay somewhere as the indirect routes take too long to fly out and back in the same day
This wasn't a very popular flight in the first place. If it doesn't come back after the covid scare, I'll come back here and whine some more for you
