Same think I get also then too when I make photos, you must make some period pictures so that you can begin to understand how you see things and feel. Then you start see which way do you have to go. ( I all time say this... Not run fast to buy the biggest camera in market, take first small one and see how you see things in this world )
Very true what you say ( The main thing is to fill your hand, it will take some time ) , art can look simple but mentally it takes time, especially if you want to use simplicity.
