I didn't get the experience when I was logged out, but now that logged in people are shown ads too, I don't think it's too bad.

I logged in today, I saw I think 3 ads while browsing so far and no more. It really feels very minimal and hard to notice.
If this format works and helps the platform, I'd be very fine with it.
