Beautiful pictures! It is so nice to see kids playing freely.

Until a few decades ago, there was a saying in Greece that was something like:

It is the village that raises the children, not the family.

Meaning that all the children were out in the streets, most of the day and all the adults were keeping an eye on them, regardless if they were their children or not.

Now it is vise versa. Children are overbooked with school and pre arranged activities and they are never left alone at the streets.
