In my previous post I told you how I have found myself in Chania, a charming little town on the west part of the island of Crete, in Greece. Now it is time to share some more pictures and tell you about a lovely walk at the old part of the town with the company of Marcos (the black furry creature in the picture above) and of course my usual travel partner, 
I just realised that thirteen out of the fifteen pictures of this post are vertical! And no, I didn't took them with my phone which could have been an excuse for this unusual ratio. I guess that it was the narrow streets and the almost claustrophobic town planning that led me to avoid horizontal framing and made me look for the sky!
Chania is one of the most beautiful towns in Greece on its own but it is also very well taken care and advertised by its people. I am quoting from the Municipality Tourism Bureau to give you an idea of what I am talking about.
Somewhere between the White Mountains and the blue of the Cretan Sea, resides a charmer, an enchantress. A city of many tales, ancient, old and contemporary, Greek and yet not only. As you can see they are not shy when it comes to praise their town and why should they?
It is indeed magnificent :)
