Lately I keep bumping into #FungiFriday posts which look pretty cool. But I rarely bump into mushrooms, making it a bit hard to join the fun. Occasionally though, I do have the chance to take a couple of descent shots of wild fungus and today I did a deep search into my hard drive to find something matching the theme of the day. And I did! I took those pictures during a hike at a gorge close to my home, one cloudy, Autumn day, a few years ago! The first one is really small, so I took a second shot with my hand for comparison! Tiny but beautiful, isn't it? The second one was popping out of the ground, almost glowing among the dark, decomposing leaves. I don't know their names or if they are edible (if you recognise them, please let me know) so that's about it! My short and humble contribution to #FungiFriday by ewkaw@ewkaw :)

But I hate to make small posts, I am kind of maximalist on that matter! So I'll continue with a few more non-fungi pics of the amazing flora of the gorge!

And something that used to have life but not any more. A goat's skull!

For closer let me share a few shots of the scenery and my hiking buddies so that you'll have a more complete view of the day!
