Epic battles

This coastal view of pure, wild beauty, is called Kamarela and you can find it at the tiny island of Antikythera. The location lies between the Greek mainland and Crete, right on the point were the Ionian and the Aegean sea meet each other. We visited it on September 16th, the forth day of a trip that is still going on with an uncontrollable pace :)

As @traisto was descending the steps that lead to the sea, I was left in awe in front of the amazing scenery. The rocks and the sea in a passionate and furious combination have created a unique, breathtaking result!

For sure it is very far from a dreamy sandy beach but swimming here is a very special experience!

Can you spot @traisto in the picture above? She looks hardly any bigger than the rocks that are scattered all around. The feeling of walking down there is simply majestic. I don't think that I am good enough photographer to fully capture the grandness of the scenery.

Looking up or looking down beauty is all around. And if I am sharing so many pictures, is because I love them all :)

I still haven't seen the pictures that @traisto took but I am sure that I'll love them too!

I was thinking that a place like that, would have triggered some myths or legends, as it usually happens in Greece but I have found nothing of the kind. Nevertheless I was happy enough to sit on a rock and come up with stories of giants and ancient gods in epic battles :)
