Well hello there! I am sure there are a few oldtimers remembering! Most of us tend to come and go from time to time :)

Δύο χρόνια τώρα, έχει βρέξει ελάχιστα. Όχι μόνο οι ελιές αλλά όλα τα φυτά και τα δέντρα της περιοχής μας είναι σε δύσκολη κατάσταση. Και γενικά το θέμα της ξηρασίας θα μας απασχολήσει πολύ τα επόμενα χρόνια.

Ναι, ωραία είναι :) Μπα, δεν είχαμε πολλές. Απλά λίγο παραπάνω από πέρυσι που δεν είχαμε σχεδόν καθόλου!

It is a hard work especially if you work for others. But like most jobs if you do it in your own rhythm it can be very fulfilling and rewarding :)

Haha, it should be. It takes hundreds of them to get just on bottle of olive oil!

Definitely better than last year which was a disaster but only because we have an olive grove in central Crete, high in the mountains. The drought on the east side of the island is devastating and people

Oh no. I probably took that last picture too close and misled you. They are olives! Big ones, we have a couple of trees of that variety to make them edible, not for olive oil but not so big as you thought

Yes, I did some basic editing on the phone. I think the slow way was the only way in our case!
