If you are Dutch the phrase "this weekend it was raining so I didn't work" is rather incomprehensible or even illogical. But if you are a farmer in Eastern Crete you know that the rare rainy days of the winter are days off! And the next best thing for me, is taking a long walk right after the rain. When the scenery and the atmosphere are clean and the sky decorated by the remaining clouds.
The cats though didn't share my enthusiasm for the rainy weather :)
But the view was more than satisfactory!
The plants looked so clean and fresh!
And everything seemed to be closer than usual!
Something like nature's cleaning day!
