Howdy,
It's a strange spring, here in southern Minnesota. The flowers are blooming all over, but there are few insects braving the chilly temperatures. After seeing butterflies early on, I thought the insect world would be thriving by now. Warmer temperatures are in the forecast, though!
In the mean time, I decided to share a few floral photos.
Actually, a tree frong would have been perfect sitting on the stem. They aren't very cooperative, though, and tend to stay well away from things big enough to eat them.
I thought I saw a little butterfly or moth try to land on this one, but it was just a piece of leaf blowing in the rather strong wind.
