Story is an additional element in a video game, it's not the most important thing not even joking, most games don't have the story of Silent Hill 2 or something like that you know. If story is the most important thing in a video game, you are insulting From Software games, Mario games, Metroid, Doom, Zelda, God of War, Bayonetta, if you say that you would be insulting practically the whole industry. A video game is what it is because it's interactive, that's why gameplay is the most important thing, if a game playably sucks, it would be a shitty game, no more.
