Hive is a very cheap ecosystem to run stuff. If there is a great place to run it, it's for sure on Hive.
Also, even if HIVE is worth 0.04 cents per HIVE, there is nothing preventing one from using $ in a game or HBD instead of HIVE (even if the inner layer transacted is in HIVE). So, whatever the value of HIVE is, for me it is a bit irrelevant when deciding where to run something.
On ETH, if I have to create a contract, I need orders of magnitude more money than on HIVE just using JSON calls (which basically uses RC and where the same amount of HP can last for a very LONG time).
Take the example of mydempire (Hive account).
Yes, not the same thing as blockchain-based contracts... but realistically, if someone is serious about it, it will have the same impact.
Anyhow, does not mean I want to entertain the idea necessarily, but wanted to find out more about the details of that code if someone would be willing to share some. I would be more interested in helping out with something than actually creating something from my own (but there are no burned doors here... so open to suggestions).
