AI is still too much influenced by profit... while that keeps happening, the "outcomes of great discoveries or research" will not be taking priority...

But it might come even before Quantum... so, maybe there is a synergy there to bring Quantum into a more efficient world. As with many other things...

It's just a much bigger mess... Humans can't follow anymore (they never could, but now it's even worse). Not saying I am... TOTALLY out of sync, and I am so sure because when I go to talk with vendors and get stuff under NDA's, I find why this is a reality.
