There are some myths about attachments and in a general conscience of attachments, relationships and romantic love that I do not believe in. I do not believe that we need to be in pairs necessarily, I do not believe that your beloved makes you happy, calm and better. He/she does not ought anything, absolutely anything to you - unless you have the common responsibilities that you have chosen BOTH.
The other person cannot help us to solve our problems. , teach us to love ourselves, because this is just our own affair. Relationships are serious, sometimes it's a lot of fun, and the best way to come to it is when you have found out already a lot about yourself, made friends with yourself, then it will be easier to communicate your true needs to your beloved.
I do not believe in superficial romance, candles and the things shown by Hollywood films because in life it works only for the first months of the relationship, and then you start to see the full picture of each other and you have to work. That work requires both mind, and wisdom, and self-reflection, and humor, and knowledge.
It is not enough simply to meet "that" person and everything will be perfect. That's what the lazy think. Of course, there is no need much efforts to create a toxic, superficial, inequitable ratio, but you and your partner must work in order to have a healthy, balanced relationship.
I think so, because of this, I do not feel any sentiments to the rings, flowers, and other traditions, since they often hide just a superficial routine repetition of mass action.
Amazing, pure love, filling everything, it really exists, but it is inside of us.
