Microsoft Bashar Kabir, Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Laos, said that Microsoft has been partnering with Bangladesh's public sector for cyber security.

Microsoft Bangladesh and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) recently organized a seminar on cyber security and trusted technology. In this seminar, the special guest, Sonia, said that goal.

In a statement sent by Microsoft Bangladesh, the seminar was held as a part of Microsoft's vision of empowering the government agency by securing information and strategies to protect critical information systems and infrastructure and reducing the malware and digital risks of the country. In the seminar, the topics of cyber crime and trusted and secure technology are discussed on how various issues can help the government to protect the information.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Information Technology Perth Pratom, present on the occasion as chief guest, was present as special guest with Postal, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Sonia. The program was chaired by Tariq M Barakat Ullah, Director of Bangladesh Computer Council.

The seminar has priority over three subjects. These are: Cyber ​​Security and Trusted Technology, Software Asset Management and Cyber ​​Security Consolidation - Software Development, Use and Licensing Model in Cyber-Security Infrastructure and Third, Best Cyber ​​Security Guidelines and Cyber ​​Security Guides in the Digital World.

Sonia said, "In the present time governments and companies worldwide understand the need of cyber security more important than ever before. In addition to the journey towards digitalization, the government is giving priority to cyber security.
