The Australian dollar rose slightly by nearly 10 points against the US dollar. The intraday decline narrowed and is now reported at 0.7170.
The Australian Federal Reserve’s September meeting noted that GDP growth may still be higher than the expected growth rate, but due to overseas growth uncertainty and salary increases. Factors such as rapid weakness will not change monetary policy in the short term.
In addition, the Reserve Bank of Australia commented on the Australian dollar that the moderate decline of the Australian dollar is beneficial to the domestic economy, while the early weakness of the US dollar index weakened the Australian dollar's gains.
