I seriously need to stop treating 2:00 AM like it’s prime time, because this whole revenge bedtime procrastination thing is straight-up ruining my life.

Every night, I tell myself I’m just reclaiming my freedom after a exhausting day of work, but let’s be real...

Staring at brain-rot on my phone for three hours isn't me-time.

It’s more like a hostage situation where I am both the captor and the victim.

By the time my alarm goes off, my eyes feel like they're full of sand, my brain is operating at twenty-percent capacity and I have to chug an ungodly amount of caffeine just to remember my own name.

I'm trading the sanity, energy and peace of my entire tomorrow just to scroll past videos I won't even remember.

It’s an exhausting, self-inflicted cycle and tonight, I am begging myself to finally listen to reason, close the screen and actually turn in before I completely destroy my survival clock.

Do the same.

Dane.
