Reading a book can sometimes feel like trying to find my footing on a muddy, unpredictable trail, where the first few chapters demand a heavy, unglamorous slog just to figure out the terrain.
I push through the dense exposition and unfamiliar names, questioning if the effort is even worth it, until suddenly, the narrative gears click into place and I hit a beautiful, effortless flow.
This is me at the moment.
Now, I’m completely hooked, deeply invested in the rhythm of the pages and reminded that the best books often require me to pay a tax of patience at the starting gate before they finally open up and carry me away.
Don't give up.
Dane.
