My take is that football fan tokens are useless and that clubs are using crypto in completely the wrong way.

Pretty much they're just gauging foreign fans for a quick buck, offering something that doesn't need to be on a blockchain at all.

There is so much potential for football and crypto to align.

But right now, it's a messy cash grab by the same old big clubs.
