Parents are beyond mere concept of life
This isn't about just anyone giving birth
And quite beyond its biological sense
But!
About a long conflict arising between the days gone by and the days to come.
About your ability to appreciate every goodness you've received
And some, their chances to be ungrateful for wellness and care they got
About the broken relations between two generations, as well as the commonly possessed association between two progenies
About the drooping shoulders on which some children had once sat to see the world
About the trembling hands that had once held the hands of their children, as they taught them to walk
About the parched lips that once sang lullabies, but which have now been silenced
Time they say has changed
Truly, it's verified to have changed and so is life
Still, we are left to understand
That our fathers are gods
And at our mothers' feet, lies our heaven
This hour, people have become very sensible
Yet grossly idiotic
My generation is very clever and practical
Again, extremely dwelling beside the opposite
For them, every relation is like a ladder on which they will step to rise further in life
But when they have no use for the ladder anymore with the rest of broken furniture in the house
They are dumped in the attic
However, life does not take you up like a ladder
Life grows like a tree
With scattered hands
That provide you with nothing but challenges
And your parents are not the steps on a ladder
They are the soul of one's life
Value and cherish them if you have.
Thank God for His parentage if you have none.
