I still have PTSD of the whole dictionary with codes you get every year. I can only compare them to filing Finnish and Lithuanian taxes but between those 3 Belgium is the worse by a stretch. Hardly possible to understand properly, no one can help you with anything, and if you make a mistake they go for basically everything you got.
They are definitely missing out on taxes because:
The saddest part is that everything is so complicated that it is beyond repair, and the only way to make up for those lost taxes is on those that stay quiet and nicely pay half of their wage every month
