Hi Actifitters,

as I told you yesterday, I went to visit family. While I was waiting for my train to North Rhine-Westphalia, the pigeon pictured was around me for maybe 30 minutes and begged for food.

My train to Hanover thankfully arrived on time, which is anything but normal for Deutsche Bahn. The train was extremely crowded, as the originally scheduled train would have been longer, but had to be spontaneously replaced with a shorter one due to a defect. It was all the more surprising, then, that there was no delay.

With a seat secured and a pleasant seatmate, we set off. Minor incidents along the way caused us to arrive in Hanover five minutes late, making it nearly impossible to catch my connecting train. Luckily, the connecting train also had a problem that needed to be fixed, and it departed seven minutes later. So, everything worked out perfectly for me. Perhaps my karma was a few points in the black.

My cousin then picked me up at the train station in Bielefeld and we went to his place. Since I still had a few steps to go to reach my goal for the day, we went for a walk and then finished the evening with a beer.

Today we want to drive to the Teutoburg Forest near Bielefeld and take a longer walk there. Let's see if the weather cooperates.
