The driver has at his disposal innovative solutions, such as a full-color Head-Up display with an indication specific to M. In the driver-oriented interior, the ergonomic leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles further enhances the impression of the driver's unity with the machine. Individual settings are activated by pressing the button. The optional M multi-functional seats, for example in the exclusive, full-featured BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery, ensure optimum lateral support even with very dynamic cornering. The sporting concept of the car is complemented by accents, such as the black roof of Alcantara.
In addition to the standard 19-inch M light alloy Star Spoke 344 M wheels, the BMW M6 Coupé offers three variants of 20-inch rims: optionally, you can choose polished or matte black Double Wok 343 M rims with mixed tires. The five characteristic arms of these rims provide the perfect frame for M-brake with "floating" discs and blue lacquered M-logo closures. The third alternative is the polished Double-spoke 601 M double-colored finish offered in the optional M Competition package. Seven even more dainty arms are underlined by the decisive appearance of the BMW M6 Coupé - always ready to reveal your impulsive temperament with every press of the gas pedal.
8-CYLINDER PETROL ENGINE M TWINPOWER TURBO.
The power that amazes: the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine is the crowning achievement of all M power units. Its amazing 560 hp (412 kW) power and 680 Nm of torque are always ready thanks to the innovative TwinScroll turbocharging technology and the optional M Competition power package can be increased up to 600 hp.
This allows high RPM, turbocharging and Valvetronic and High Precision Injection systems. The full torque is already from about 1500 rpm and in combination with an almost linear power graph creates an impressive engine characteristic that will please every driver with ambition. Power and performance need not be ruled out, as shown by the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine equipped with intelligent BMW EfficientDynamics technologies such as braking energy recovery. Thanks to them, the average fuel consumption is only 9.9 liters.
7-STAGE JOINT BOTTOM M DRIVELOGIC BOILER.
The M Drivelogic dual-clutch gearbox is an innovative transmission specially adapted to the high-speed BMW M engines. It enables automatic gear selection optimized for traction, Launch Control, Low Speed Assistance, and Auto Start Stop function. Changing gears is done automatically or manually using blades on the leather steering wheel M or lever in the center console.
The M dual-clutch gearbox enables extremely fast gear changes without interrupting the drive transmission. This is possible thanks to two transmission units, each with its own clutch, which, through alternating operation, transfers the engine power to the wheels without interrupting transmission of the drive. The use of available navigation data allows the optimization of gear shifting strategy - the dual-clutch gearbox M can, for example, reduce the gear ahead of the approaching bend early enough. The additional Launch Control function allows start stopped at maximum acceleration. Provides an extremely dynamic driving experience, allowing you to change gears at full throttle without depressing the clutch pedal, without interrupting transmission of the drive.
The Drivelogic function offers three programs in both automatic (D) and manual (S) modes - from extremely sporty to comfortable to economical.
