A significant share in shaping the enterprise and its subsequent successes should be attributed to people: Franc Josef Popp - the first managing director, Max Friz - the main constructor and technical director, and Camillo Castiglione - the shareholder and owner of the enterprise.
The logo of the BMW company, which has remained unchanged to the present day, presents a stylized circle of propellers in the colors of Bavaria, combines the airline's roots with the alpine land.
