Hope you guys are doing great. I also doing fine and woke up early so that I can write about the specific topic which I wanted to write on from the last day. Hive Learner gave us a topic to write about That One Job. I thought why not sharing my experience with first job that I wouldn't go back again.
Why would someone do job?
Some people prefer to get a job right after completing their degree and some wants to generate side income for pocket money being a student. Every one has different perspective for doing jobs. This helps people to fulfil the basic needs by their own. People especially men have to look after his family by doing jobs or businesses.
In our region, people have a mindset of doing jobs to fulfil the basic need right after completing education. This is why they go outside for finding jobs and say yes to every possible job that he can do for some money. But my mindset was different, I wasn't prefer to go outside and doing jobs to fulfil my basic needs because I have no burden on my shoulders that I have to look after my family. My father was sufficient for fulfilling family needs.
What First Job I Had?
As I already mentioned, my intention was not typical to find a job for myself but I wanted to work for people by staying online. I was going through my final year of the University and I was eagerly wanted to do some jobs online by staying at home and focusing on study as well.
At that time, I used to use Facebook on daily basis where I joined few groups for article writing and academic writing. My intention was getting few orders per month to generate enough amount for my pocket money.
Luckily, I start receiving some orders of article writing but they were paying so less that you won't imagine. They were asking me to write 600-1000 word SEO content for their blogs for only 200 PKR which is insane.
I was hopeless that time too means I would not get such jobs because I have no such portfolio. It was a fresh start for me so I said YES to such orders in a very less price. I kept working at low rates for some times in order to make portfolio.
Why I will never do this job again?
The main reason is that I was earning way less than my hard work which I put in writing the article for their blogs. This work demands a lot of research work before getting the final outcome.
Though they were giving me keywords but rest of the task was on me that I have to write the whole article by searching on Google on that particular topic.
They were happy getting a lot of work for few penny but I wasn't happier in this situation. This is why i would never go back to this work anymore which demands a lot of hard work but getting less amount in return.
This article writing is one of them bad job that I would never do in the future. I would rather look for other options. I think every one of us gone through such bad experiences which taught us. What bad job you have done till now? Let us discuss in the comment section below.
