Graffiti will always be here, and even though I hadn’t shared these photos because I thought it wasn’t the right time, today I believe there’s never a “right” time to share art.
Especially when the art is so meaningful and healing.
A big and warm greeting to everyone who is part of this amazing community—it’s been one of my favorites since I first got into blockchain, as graffiti has been my passion for over a decade.
As always, situations arise in life that put us in places we don’t want to be, but it’s entirely up to us to find a way out of negative environments and seek a more prosperous and productive atmosphere.
This graffiti was very close to my house—about 500 meters away—and I started painting it on Sunday two weeks ago. However, I hadn’t finished it because of the heavy rains we’ve been having. But on Saturday or Sunday of this past weekend, around 3 a.m., I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to go out with the leftover paint from previous projects.
This turned out to be a great idea—using a brush and acrylic paint, I was able to fill in the letters and outline them with this intense blue color.
Note: ecency been SOOOO slow to load images that i'm only going to share this ones.
I used two spray cans; since they had very little paint left, I just sprayed a little on top, but you can really see the purple tone standing out against the blue. Although I would have liked to add yellow and white to this graffiti, I couldn’t get those colors; however, I think the result is very good and makes a strong visual impact on this gray wall.
People often ask what it says, what it means, or why I do it; they also wonder who pays me to do this and who covers the cost of materials. It’s kind of funny to think that someone would pay to have this kind of work done—and even funnier to think that someone would support this art.
All of this is completely independent; I’m pretty much self-taught when it comes to street art.
